A series of lectures and discussions re-examining Portugal's contributions to the Age of Exploration
This symposium, one of a series of three, was presented by the Portuguese Historical Center during the Cabrillo Festival in 1992 and edited by the Comissão Nacional Para As Commemorações Dos Descobrimentos Portugueses.
This was also the second time the Portuguese tall ship Sagres, visited San Diego, and attended the Cabrillo Festival.
